This book is insane. Oh. My. God. What have I read???????? I am not easily creeped out by stories, but this time I surely was. Having read It Ends with Us and It Starts with Us, I honestly didn't expect much from this book. But oh boy what was I wrong. This story is a MASTERPIECE.
I will not go in much depth about the story, because I am afraid I might give some spoilers, which is a risk I will not take. What I can say though, is the following:
The story started mundane. Nothing special. It started similar to other CoHo books. But then, THEN it started to get scary. I simply couldn't stop reading once Lowen was getting more and more involved in the life of Verity and Jeremy and their child. I can't remember exactly in how many days I read this book, but I can say that I read it as fast as possible. Once you've started, you can't stop reading. Be prepared for the fright of your life reading this story. This book isn't like any other. A masterpiece, no comparison possible. Frightening and beautiful at the same time. But mostly frightening...
